ABOUT BAMA MAHJ
Our story begins in June of 2025. I was invited to a birthday party where there was a hired mahjong instructor. First class and i was hooked, as many are. but when i went on my journey to find my first mahjong setup, I was finding that the game is not affordable to everyone. I loved the mats, and the tiles and racks and bags, but I couldn't justify spending hundreds of dollars on just tiles. I want pretty stuff too, but I want it to be affordable to everyone, while still being cute or themed.
So it was in July of 2025 that I sat down with my mom and said, "I'm going to design my own mahjong supplies and find suppliers that can make my pieces afforable to everyone who wants to play".
On July 24, 2025, BAMA MAHJ was born.
I cant wait to see where this takes me, and hope everyone will support me and my mission to be affordable for everyone.

ABOUT MEGAN
Megan is an Alabama native, growing up in Hoover, Alabama. She attended college at The University of Alabama, where she Majored in Telecommunications and Film, with a minor in English Studies. She survived her college days while being a waitress and interning at WVUA-TV TO BECOME A REPORTER.
After college she moved back to the Birmingham area where she Married Jamey Harris, and together they now have two children, Cash and Crew.
Megan loves to spend time with her family, discovering a new hobby, WEARING SPARKLY CLOTHING, and playing mahjong in the Birmingham Mahjong Club.
